Investment Philosophy
2021-01-21

Our investment philosophy focuses on "quality", a systematic equity factor grounded in academic literature and empirical research. Quality is already a well recognized Alpha factor in global equities. Investing in high quality companies is likely to generate superior risk-adjusted returns over time. We believe this is also true in China.

However, given the uniqueness of China, we cannot apply a global, universal definition of quality, nor can we take a pure quantitative approach here. We have created our own definition of Quality in the context of China A-shares , based on over two decades of experience in this market.

We think Quality is essentially about sustainability and resilience. What we offer you are not just great companies, but great companies that can last. Governance is the most important factor in our proprietary Quality framework.
